Design road tested at 30 mph. No problems.
Design road tested at 70 mph into a 20 mph headwind... the
store bought aluminum flag mounts sheared off at their internal connections.
Red Neck Flag Mount assembly suffered no damage or stress of any kind.
Currently looking for (3x) single piece vertical steel flag mounts...

Update...
Store bought aluminum flag mounts replaced with 2 big U-bolts per flag. The flag poles themselves will break long before any other part of the structure. Design road tested at sustained 70 mph for 3 miles. No trouble whatsoever other than the flags started to fray at the ends.
Currently looking for metal flag poles...
